June 5 - 7, 2026

Join alumni, students, and the Detroit community in honoring a legacy that continues to shape the next generation

From Second Ave. To The World

It all started on Second Avenue.

For a century, the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal Program has been part of Detroit’s musical foundation, shaping generations of students through discipline, artistry, and excellence.

What began in classrooms on Second Avenue has carried far beyond them, reaching concert halls, communities, and lives across the city and beyond.

Today, that legacy continues through the students who carry it forward and the alumni who remain forever connected to it.

This Centennial is not just a celebration of the past. It is a continuation of the story.

Before the stages. Before the careers. Before the headlines.

There was Second Avenue.

Cass Tech was never a school you simply attended.

You applied. You were chosen. You were expected.

Expected to work. Expected to rise.
Expected to carry something forward.

Join us as we celebrate a century of voices born from the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal legacy.

Shaped by it. Forever connected.
